How can we help?

Start with your skate or choose a help topic below. For personal help, email support@creasecallhockey.com and include your booking reference.

Arrival QR code & payment release

Both the team manager and assigned goalie use the mobile app. Sign in with the email from your request or goalie application, choose Games → View skate, and open check-in.

The manager shows that skate’s private QR code or six-digit code when the goalie arrives. The goalie scans or enters it to confirm arrival and release payment. There is no timed payout after puck drop and no second manager approval button.

Check-in opens one hour before puck drop. Payment must be secured first. If the camera is unavailable, enter the six-digit code. Keep the code private until you meet at the rink.

Request, change or cancel a skate

Choose your market and enter the rink, date, time, skate length and level. It is $40 to request a goalie. Availability is not guaranteed.

Use the app’s Games page or the private link in your confirmation email to manage your booking. Changes and cancellations are free through 90 minutes before puck drop. Later requests and existing payments may need owner review under the skate terms.

Goalie signup & Square setup

A completed goalie application is approved automatically after email verification. If you are already signed in with a verified email, you do not need another verification email. Enter your current USA Hockey number if available; a missing number does not delay approval, and the owner reviews it after you join. You remain responsible for meeting your rink and league requirements.

Active goalies connect Square through their private email link or Earnings & billing in the app. Your accepted skate includes rink directions and in-app skate messages. Open Inbox and choose the skate to coordinate with your manager.

Goalie late cancellations & one-time grace

Release your assignment as soon as you know you cannot attend. At or within 120 minutes before puck drop, it counts as a late cancellation. Each goalie receives one lifetime grace under the current policy, with no $10 request for that first late cancellation.

After your grace is used, CreaseCallHockey may request an optional $10 contribution toward Square processing costs where incurred and CreaseCallHockey operating costs. It is never charged automatically. Repeated late cancellations are flagged for owner review and may result in removal from the goalie roster at the owner’s discretion. The owner can see unpaid requests, but an unpaid optional contribution does not automatically cause removal. A member removed under this policy can still request a goalie as a team manager.

You cannot reclaim a skate you previously released during its final 120 minutes before puck drop. If you released it in that window, you cannot reclaim the same skate even if it is rescheduled. Grace or contribution payment does not remove this restriction. The separate $40 replacement payout window begins 90 minutes before puck drop. Read the goalie release terms.

Payments & bank transfers

Secure checkout opens after a connected goalie accepts. The customer’s payment is authorized before arrival and completed after a valid rink check-in. Earlier bookings securely save a card until the authorization window opens.

A standard skate pays the goalie $30. Qualifying short-notice skates pay $40 less Square’s processing fee. Check Earnings & billing for payment status. Release to Square and a later bank deposit are separate; bank timing follows your Square account settings.

If release is still processing, keep the skate open for its status update. Repeating a check-in does not create another payment. Contact support if it needs attention.

Sign-in, SMS & app notifications

Use the email from your request or application. Your sign-in code arrives by email. Install the app and enable notifications to receive alerts on your phone.

Local offer reminders repeat approximately every 35 minutes while unclaimed and before puck drop. They stop when a skate is claimed, canceled or starts. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS or HELP for help.

Messages, ratings & privacy

Messaging opens as soon as a goalie accepts the skate. Both assigned participants must sign in to use the conversation. Sending closes exactly two hours after the scheduled skate start. Message history and owner review remain available afterward. Use Report or Block participant for inappropriate messages.

Ratings open after a completed, paid skate. Public leaderboard participation is optional in Profile. Never include passwords, sign-in codes, check-in codes or card details in a support message.

Delete your account

Open Profile → Delete account in the app. Access closes and your leaderboard entry is hidden immediately. Personal-data removal follows review of unresolved skates and payments; required financial records may be retained under the privacy policy. If you cannot sign in, email support from your registered address.
